Fi-Lo

Fi-Lo steps up for record number four on Alphaville Records, with Phenomeno EP. Channeling his inner 90’s tech-house soul, Fi-Lo has created four varied and dangerous dancefloor groovers.

The lead track ‘Shaggin’ Wagon’, is a smooth mover, interchanging between light and shade, acid and breaks. Finishing up the A-side, ‘Toro Bravo’ is all about the chugg. Deep, with a wide berth it comes with plenty of low end and a fat groove. On The B-side comes the bomb, ‘All Work, No Play (Pressure Mix)’ a relentless proggy, evolving weapon balanced with a good dose of fun. Last up ‘LA-Z BOY’ brings things back down with a laid back track infused with a load of samples which will be sure to keep things ticking over nicely on the dancefloor.
